Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd (GSC) is the leading film exhibitor and distributor in Malaysia.

FILM EXHIBITION
GSC Exhibition continues expansion plan in 2008 with a 10-screen multiplex in Phase 2, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall, after GSC Alamanda Putrajaya (opened April 2008) and GSC 1Borneo, Kota Kinabalu (opened June 2008). With a total of 2,002 seats, GSC Dataran Pahlawan Melaka will complement the existing 4-screen GSC Mahkota Parade which is within walking distance of each other. All in there will be 2,811 seats available in both GSC cinemas in Melaka.

With GSC Dataran Pahlawan Melaka, GSC reinforces its market leader positioning with the largest circuit with a total of 161 screens in 23 locations, all of which are located in prime sites in major cities and towns throughout the country. They include Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Sungei Petani, Penang, Seremban, Malacca, Kuantan and Kota Kinabalu.

GSC also operates Malaysia’s first ever boutique cinema, GSC Signature in The Gardens, Mid Valley. With 2 Gold Class and 5 Premiere Class halls in this premier cinema, GSC Signature provides an enriching experience for its valued patrons via the spacious interiors, thick plush carpet, luxurious surroundings and ever attentive staff to cater to their needs. FILM DISTRIBUTION
GSC is the biggest distributor of independent English and foreign language films. GSC distributes films from independent companies such as Weinstein, Mandate, Summit Pictures, Wild Bunch, New Line Cinemas, etc. As for Chinese films, GSC is the largest distributor and distributes films from the major studios in China/Hong Kong, namely Media Asia, Emperor Motion Pictures, Mandarin Films, Applause Films, etc.
