From its humble beginnings of having only one retail outlet on the 2nd Floor of Wisma Hopoh Complex measuring 672 sq ft in 1984, the company has steadily grown over the years and today became the largest retail-based business group in Sarawak. Having started with a meager workforce of less than 5 employees, the company has grown from strength to strength; and currently has more than 300 employees who are based throughout Sarawak and Sabah. With retail outlets located in all the major shopping complexes, LEA Centre's products are renowned among shoppers for fine quality leather footwear (branded, sports, fashion, casual), leatherwear and accessories from a wide range of designs at competitive prices.
Although our beginnings come from the footwear accessory market, LEA Centre 's business has never been limited to the shoe retail industry. This is apparent with our setting up of concept stores, boutiques and sports centres whose lines of products cater for segments of the market. As these lines of unique and original products grew, so did our market opportunities.
