Ghee Yong Holdings (LKY) Sdn Bhd (formerly Ghee Yong Company) was first established in 1969 by it's leader and Chairman, Mr. Lu Kim Yong. This company mainly deals with the selling of new and used motorcycles. Other subsidiary that was created include Ghee Yong Enterprise Sdn Bhd which focus on the wholesaling of motorcycle spare parts and accessories. Ghee Yong Hire Purchase and Mortgage Sdn Bhd was later created to provide hire purchase services to its customers.

In addition to that, our leader has also created a new company, GYH E-Vehicle Sdn Bhd in 2010 which deals exclusively in E-Bicycle. On 1st May 2011, Homestay Hotel (wholly owned & manage by Ghee Yong Realty Sdn Bhd) was also launch in the same building to provide affordable and comfortable stay for guests.

Throughout the 4 decades Ghee Yong are in business, Ghee Yong have associated ourselves very closely as the main distributor to such famous brand as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Modenas and more recently Demak. In addition to that, Ghee Yong are the main distributor for SGV & LTD safety helmet, RKM roller chain, Kromoto aerosol spray paint, TSK control cable, Mega motor oil, tyres, and tubes and many more. Ghee Yong are also the sole distributor for Faito products in Sarawak.

Under the capable leadership of Mr. Lu Kim Yong, the company has grown from a small family owned business to a market leader in motorcycle and spare parts sales and have expanded is clientele throughout the state of Sarawak, Sabah, Labuan and also also the country of Brunei Darussalam.

Besides being a successful businessman, our Chairman is also actively involve in various social works. He was the Councillor for Kuching City Hall South in the 1990s.
