Opened in August 31, 2007, Nomad Borneo Bed & Breakfast promises to bring a little home away from home to any visitors coming to Kuching. Tucked in a quiet shop house strategically located in the city centre, the laidback coziness appeal of this B&B is a sure draw for well-traveled visitors.

The B&B owners are travelers themselves and they understand the needs of fellow travelers, especially backpackers, when it comes to seeing the world on a budget. Though there are many B&B accommodations offered in Kuching, Nomad stands out for being homely and welcomes every visitor like a friend.

So far, many travelers from all over the world has made themselves happily at home here at the B&B. The Nomad owners and staff are locals, natives who can give first-hand travel information to their guests. The people-friendly and flexible give-and-take approach makes them a suitable place to stay for many.

Nomad takes up three floors of the shop house. It currently offers three dormitories with a capacity of twenty boarders each at RM26 per bed each night.

There are also three single rooms at RM55 per night and one twin room at RM65. A communal shower and toilet facility is provided.

Travelers who preferred some privacy and attached bathroom facility can opt for one of the three double rooms. Two of these double rooms are priced at RM75 per night while the other more spacious room is charged at RM85 per night. Extra bed costs RM20 per night.

Other facilities include laundry service, towels, lockers for boarders staying in dormitories, TV with Astro services, DVD player and even a Playstation for gamers. Free WiFi is also available and travelers without their own laptop can rent the B&B's for RM5 per hour.

Nomad also has a cafe that opens all day and offers its kitchen to any travelers who want to do their own cooking. There is also a bar on the ground floor of this B&B, which opens every night.
