Global Art & Creative

The Global Art & Creative (GAC) Method of Learning was invented in 1999 by an experienced art teacher in Malaysia – Mr. Mahair Goh, who is now the Founder and Managing Director of Global Art & Creative Sdn. Bhd.

The GAC Method of Learning is a comprehensive, systematic, innovative and child-oriented educational system specifically designed for young children. The GAC Method of Learning is suitable for children aged 4 years old and above.

The GAC Method of Learning has been proven to be an efficient and effective educational tool that helps children growing more creatively and intelligently.

Global Art & Creative Sdn. Bhd. has received several awards from The Malaysia Book of Records such as “The Largest Chain of Art Centres” and “The Biggest Glass Painting”.

Global Art & Creative Sdn. Bhd. lately received the prestigious endorsement from a leading and well known art creative university in Malaysia, Limkokwing University College of Creative Technology.

With this endorsement an advanced placement programme “Pathway to University” is developed that enables Global Art Students to realize their university education sooner.


History
1999
Global Art & Creative is founded by Mr. Mahair Goh. After 10 years as an art educator. With his vast experience & creativity, he managed to revolutionized a new teaching technique that specifically assist each individual learning capability & soon he created a new market by taking his art programmes into franchising.

2000
Starting with the 1st bacth of 10 Franchisees with 1200 students in 1999 & just within 1 year the numbers of franchisees have risen to 60 with the students' population of 8,000.

2001
2 yeers into the market, GAC programme was well recognised throughout Malasia & soon GAC received its first endorsement from one of the leading Art Academy in the country, Saito Academy.

2002
With the ever growing population of GAC family members, another endorsement from prestigious "The One Academy" has been awarded to our special programme and for the first time GAC has taken a very important step by taking the programme into Brunei, our first international partner.

2003
First international GAC art drawing competition, the event saw the attendance of over 3000 participants & was awarded by the Malaysia Book of Record for the "Biggest Glass Painting'. A year later Singapore & Indonesia joined us.

2004
A landmark year for GAC Malaysia with the programme being widely accepted, more & more countries had joined us starting with Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Australia & India. On the 7th of November once again GAC Malaysia was awarded by MBR for 'The Largest Chain of Art Centers' in our 2nd annuak GAC international Art Coloring Competition with the theme "Yes, I can!."

2005
With ten countries & a student population reaching 100,000 worldwide, the response has been overwhelming. With the supports rendred to us all these years, GAC Malaysia pledged to continue its effort in promoting Art & Crafts by organising more seminars/exhibitions & art competition.

2006
Seven years into the industry - our programme is endorsed by The prestigious LimKokWing University College of creative technology endorsed our programme, we are proud to be awarded b such recognition. The same year saw another 6 countries joining us starting with Sri Lanka, Mal;dives, New Zealand, Fiji, Jordan & Russia.
